C-COM Mortar

Design of a new compressible mortar for TBM shield.

Summary:	The project, led by Cementos la Cruz, has a budget of €1.018.281 and has been partially funded by the Center for technological development and Industrial (CDTI) and co-financed with FEDER funds. The general objective is the development of a new compressible mortar, based on the use of recycled material from large elastic properties, for the ring padding between ground and support, through which we achieve minimize the solicitations that reach the prefabricated concrete segments that serve as support of the excavation, due to the compatibility of convergences in the excavated ring-ring padding-excavated ground system.

ECO-HUL

The overall objective has been the use of industrial waste (plastic, paper…) and nanomolecules of silica for the production of ultra-lightweight concretes which contribute to offer an innovative, sustainable and resilient solution to the earthquake.

HORMINOX

Summary:	The project has a budget of €315.000 and has been partially funded by the Center for technological development and Industrial (CDTI) and co-financed with FEDER funds. The General objectives of the project are, on the one hand, to develop photocatalytic concretes using zctive nanomaterials capable of eliminating pollution in the cities and, on the other hand, to develop concretes able to reduce the concentration of NOx by activated carbon additions.
